CyanogenMod 7 (Ewra Project)


Version 7 final
CyanogenMod is an open source replacement firmware for smart phones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices. CyanogenMod is also stated to increase performance and reliability compared with official firmware releases.

 Requiriments

Download CyanogeMod 7 (Ewra Project).

 Installation

Note: I recommend you make a Backup.
  1. Download CyanogenMod 7 (Ewra Project)  and put it on the SD card.
  2. Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery, choose install zip from sdcard and then choose zip from sdcard. 
  3. Select cm-7-20121221-UNOFFICIAL-brandy.zip choose Yes, and wait until the installation is completed.
  4. Reboot your phone.
That's it, now your phone has CyanogenMod 7 (Ewra Project).

      Yeah i did, it was pretty awesome, the only setbacks I see is that the radio is not working (if you're from the Philippines), and the file manager is way too slow, I got a 1Gb folder with apk's and it loads like 20 mins. But I rate this 8/10, I love the visuals.

    hHy, this isnt really related to the post, but i dont know where to ask or look for the solution so any answers will be highly appreciated.. I decided to unlock my alcatel ot 990 for all sim cards and been having problems since then.. My operater sent me the unlock key but it didnt work and now the cellphone doesnt register any sim cards.. It just says No sim card an thats all... I reset it to original settings but it didnt do anything, just lost my data and thats all... Can you please help??? :)

    Is this the best ROM for OT990? Does it have any bugs? How much can the CPU be overclocked?

    I think there is something wrong with this ROM or my device. Because when I flashed this ROM I couldn't flash Gapps(Google Apps). I wipe whole device ( cache, dalvik and whatever there is) many times and I flashed again and again. But in final there are no gapps. Is anyone has this problem too?

    Fix error, when trying search available networks
    Kernel build with latest source from Gulyuk
    Clean up library files, possible malfunction with 3G/GSM networks
