ICS Theme for Alcatel OT-990

Now compatible with Gingerbread!
Ice Cream Sandwich theme for Alcatel One Touch 990A with Android 2..22 (Froyo) and Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread).
Has modified most elements of: Contacts, Dialer, Messaging, System Icons, Notification Icons, Fonts, Notification bar aspect and more... Take a look.

Gingerbread Version
Requiriments
Download ICS Theme v1 for Gingerbread Stock ROM (Hungary).
Download ICS Theme v1 for QME ROM.


Installation
Note: I recommend you make a Backup before installing the theme.
  1. Download ICS Theme v1 and put it on the SD card.
  2. Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery, choose install zip from sdcard and then choose zip from sdcard. 
  3. Select ICS_Theme_v1_XXX.zip choose Yes, and wait until the installation is completed.
  4. Reboot your phone.
That's it, now your phone looks like Ice Cream Sandwich.

Froyo Version
Tested on Alcatel OT-990A, maybe will work with other versions, but it has only the languages: English (US and UK), Spanish, French and Italian. So if you want to try, do it at your own risk.

I recommend you make a backup before installing the theme.

Installing
  1. Download ICS Theme v1 OT-990A and put it on the SD card.
  2. Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery, choose install zip from sdcard and then choose zip from sdcard. 
  3. Select ICS_Theme_v1_OT990A.zip choose Yes, and wait until the installation is completed.
  4. Reboot your phone and wait a few minutes until the system completes the new configuration (about 3 minutes).
  5. That's it, now your phone looks like Ice Cream Sandwich.

    I followed your steps, and after I choose "Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery"
    my device made reset to factory settings :(

    First i would like to thank you for your blog about the OT 990, just got the phone and you always give good infos! cheers.


    second, i tried to install ICS theme for my OT 990, but i dont think my phone took it, as it is stuck on the Alcatelonetouch page and doesnt go further. ITS TOTALLY my fault as i didnt back up as you suggested...my bad! I will learn...

    BUT...would you be so kind as to send me a link, infos, what ever something easy for you, a way that i could remedy to this problem ? What should i do? Im just discovering Android.

      Yes, by restoring the backup you should have done.

    Hi I've tried installed ICS _Theme_v1_QME thru CWM recovery, install from SD.. after the process indicate Installed.. reboot, I noticed nothing happens.. is there other step I missed? thanks in advance... Jose_QME ROM

    Installed this, only change is the lock screen animation, everything else looks the same (Gingerbread). Using QME ROM, anything you think I might be doing wrong?

    How can I place personal rintones to use them? I placed them (ogg files) into system/media/ringtones, but in the sound menuitem of the settings only the oldring appears.
