How to install Link2SD - Alcatel OT-990

Link2sd is an app that uses a second partition on the sd card to link your apps to it, this means it indicates to the phone that it has a larger memory so you can install as many applications you want.
Requiriments
  1. ClockworkMod Recovery.
  2. Formatted SD card (make a backup of your data before formatting).
Steps
  1. Reboot your phone into recovery mode.
  2. In the recovery go to: Advanced -> Partition SD Card.
  3. Select the size of the new partition (Link2SD partition) and select ext2...
I selected 512 and I've never filled it.
  4. After you've formatted the SD card, reboot your phone.
  5. Install Link2SD from the market.
  6. Open it... There will be a popup window, select ext2 and reboot your phone.
  7. Then open Link2SD, select Filter -> User... And now you can move your user apps.
Don't move the applications found in /custpack... directory.
That's it, now you can install as many applications you want.

Tip: You can automate the process, so each time you install an app it will be linked automatically to the SD:
  • Open Link2SD go to Settings, select Auto link and go to Auto link settings and select all options.
